By creating an account, purchasing credits, uploading any file, or otherwise using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering a contract.

Wild Walnut operates an online platform that lets users upload books (or similar documents) and receive an AI-generated summary or explanation for each page.
đź“Ś Important: Summaries are delivered as part of the web experience; no guarantee is made that the output is error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it up-to-date.
You may purchase "Credits" that are deducted when you request AI processing.
Payments are handled by third-party provider Stripe. We never store full payment card details.
You retain all ownership rights in the books or documents you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit User Content solely to operate the Service.
⚠️ Important Notice: Files and cover images are stored in AWS S3/Cloudflare CDN on publicly addressable URLs. We will not actively publish or index those URLs, but they may be discoverable by anyone with the link.
You must have all necessary rights to upload the content and you—and not Wild Walnut—are liable for any infringement, defamation, or other harm arising from the User Content.
Except for User Content, the Service (including all software, AI models, design, and content) is owned by Wild Walnut or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international IP laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your account (and delete or disable access to User Content) at any time, with or without notice, if you:

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WILD WALNUT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES—EXPRESS OR IMPLIED—INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF OUTPUTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WILD WALNUT'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR CREDITS IN YOUR LAST PURCHASE. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Walnut, its officers, directors, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via the Service or email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
